Dr.-Ing. Thomas Sinnwell

Dr. Thomas Sinnwell was born 1965 in Püttlingen, Germany. He is managing partner of consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH.
He studied Communication Technology at the Fachhochschule des Saarlandes (University of Applied Sciences), Germany, followed by studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of the Saarland, Germany, where he specialized in Information Technology.
In 1999 he earned his doctorate summa cum laude in the field of signal processing. His dissertation was evaluated by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. K.-D. Becker (theoretical electrical engineering) and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. A. K. Louis (applied mathematics).
From 1990 until 1993, Dr. Sinnwell worked at an engineering office and was engaged in areas, such as network technology and industrial measuring technology.
In 1994 he changed to the Chair of Theoretical Electrical Engineering at the University of the Saarland, Germany, where he was employed as research associate in the fields of signal processing and radio wave propagation.
In the years 1990 until 1999 Dr. Sinnwell taught theoretical electrical engineering and digital signal processing at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (University of Applied Sciences), Germany.
From 1999 until 2002, he worked as Technical Consultant and Project Manager at DeTeMobil GmbH / T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH and was engaged in a variety of subjects concerning mobile data communications.
Dr. Sinnwell is responsible both for the strategic direction of consistec and its research and development activities. He is married and has one daughter.
