consistec research work at TELFOR 2010 in Belgrade

The 18th TELFOR forum will be held in Belgrade from 23rd to 25th November 2010. With up to 1000 expert visitors from the fields of telecommunications and information technology, it is one of the most important scientific forums in this field. consistec GmbH will also be presenting a paper at this year's event.

consistec software developer Kurnia Hendrawan, Dr. Dirk Leinenbach, Head of Tracing & Monitoring and Dr. Thomas Sinnwell, CEO of consistec GmbH are the authors of the paper "Multidimensional and Adaptive Non-Intrusive Anomaly Detection in Network Services" which has already received much advance attention from experts.

This is a new technique for precisely detecting anomalies in network statistics (e.g. packet rate, processor utilisation, etc.).

The new method is particularly distinguished by its ability to evaluate network data multidimensionally and adaptively.

The consistec paper will subsequently be published in Telfor’s 2010 Journal and thus made accessible to a wide professional audience.
