The caplon product line was designed for use in 10-gigabit Ethernet networks. In caplon systems, loss-free data acquisition of up to an effective 6 Gbit/sec. (network-to-disk performance) depending on the model is guaranteed, with simultaneous, independent utilization by up to 10 users.
