In its basic configuration for passive monitoring of application servers, the caplon^® APPLICATION & SERVICE MONITORINGsystem comprises the caplon SERVICE MONITORING appliance.

One or more caplon^®tracing nodes are added for complex data services of service-oriented architectures in order to acquire network data at relevant points in the service chain or IT infrastructure.
